Color: Inky with Purple Hues Nose: Smokey and Blackberry Taste: Strength upfront with deep Blackberry, Black Cherry; Finishes with beautiful Dark Chocolate, Smoke, and Oak. Aerator adds a sense of Finesse, Juiciness, and some Green/Vegetable Notes. Acidity is bright, noticeable, and balanced Comp's: More lush than valley fruit like Baldacci IV Sons and Corley's State Lane Cab; More similar to Mountain Fruit from Atlas Peak or Mount Veeder

Decanted 1 hour and let it come up from cellar temp. Absolutely delicious! Black currant, plum, and a touch of black cherry on the finish. Some fine tannins, perfect acidity. Paired with grilled sirloin and broccoli. It rocked.

Better than I expected; smoky and dark cherry aromas, nice balance, light on the finish.
