We were almost afraid to open this because it's 6 years old now....aged Napa Chards can be a little bit of a crapshoot. Kinda sad this was our last bottle now though! It's matured nicely and doesn't show any indication of getting over the hill. If anything, it's swapped its popcorn and butter notes for more refined vanilla, lemon, and smooth light caramel flavors. It's mellowed and gotten more complex. I fell in love with TK 6 years ago when I was in my BIG BOLD BUTTER OAK CHARDONNAY phase and this has followed the same trajectory as my evolving tastes - from Big California to Subtle Burgundy.
Good thing we're friends with the winemakers now....getting more won't be impossible!
