During a wine diner. Chris Ringland style, not for the faint hearted. This has a whopping 17.2% natural alcohol. That alone is an achievement as not too long ago oenologists thought that was impossible. May be they used a new Xmen-yeast... Spent 36 months in French oak. Nose of torrefaction and sweet spices with red fruit. Fullest bodied on the palate, the alcohol does not come as heat but the wine feels very sweet on the palate. Acidity is decent though, keeping all in check. Sore higher is you like this style.
