  Poor, bordering on vile. Heavy, stewed nose infused with prune and fig, old oak. The palate is tolerable but the overall impression is marred by that overripe heavy perfume of decaying fruit. The only thing, apart from a spotless cork, that convinced me that this bottle wasn't faulty was the fact that wine didn't degenerate over two hours: no improvement, no decline, just a barely drinkable wine.
