Argiolas is one of the greatest wineries in Sardinia, and their white blend called Iselis shows why. Lovey translucent and shiny gold color. Very energetic mouth entry with vivid citrus acidity, then goes way beyond refreshing to become lushly textured and mouth coating. Overall, concentrated, complex, and delicious.

The blend is 85% Nasco, which is a native grape of Sardinia, and 15% Vermentino. Medium gold color with a jasmine nose. The sip has an oily texture with honeysuckle, peach, and a faint sweetness. The swallow showcases very persistent flavors, and finishes dry, with a slight alcoholic burn. Excellent with cucumber, carrots, and black tomatoes.

Rich texture with a Chardonnay-like finish. Faint fruit, like strawberry and peach, at the beginning, but it develops some flab after being opened for a while. Went splendidly with chicken though a good white on its own as well.

Fresh pineapple floral nose. Unctuous texture. Tropical fruit, peach, white pepper and anise, with a long finish.
