a fruity, fat zin as noted by others; rather low acid, a bit of funkiness, but with Trader Joe selling it for $2.99 a bottle (yes, not much more than than the packing costs) it's steal

Dark violet in color, this wine showed classic Zinfandel notes of bright raspberry, jammy red fruits and sweet red cherry on the nose. The mouth feel brought sweet tannins, branbly underbrush tones as well as more sweet fruits. The finish was medium with the classic Zinfandel notes pairing well with the fruits, acidity and tannins.
At $9.50US, this was a very drinkable bottle of entry level zin and one I'd gladly serve to my friends.

Cranberry cherry fruit bomb. Light intensity, jammy. High alcohol. Tart greens. Fruit leather. Good with spicy food

Sharp and chemically. Might be OK for a sangria type drink without citrus rind. Two of three housemates found it acceptable with strong pizza.
