  • Well I was in the mood for Chambolle, but this was a bit of a waste as it's simply too young. Cherry, currant, earth and violets. The fruit turns darker in the glass as it sits, and it shuts down a bit. One glass was all we needed so we corked it back up and will finish it in another day or two, but this needs a good five to seven years or so I think.

  • Popped and poured, this has a vivid crimson core and notes of cherry, florals and Asian spices. Light and elegant, the palate mirrors the bouquet and shows nice finesse and balance. As it opens it takes on more dark fruit notes and the floral qualities expand. Very nice at the price point.
