  This bottle was a gift. Opened it before dinner without any food pairing. From the very good 2012 vintage. Fermented in oak. This sandy premier cru site faces Southeast. Served a little too cold but it opened up quite a bit as it warmed a little. Distinct petrol aroma. This was dry as the bottle indicated. Very well made with notes of crisp apples and quince. Solid minerality and acidity. Clean finish. 93 points.

  So muss Riesling riechen: perfekt. Idealer Zeitpunkt jetzt. Grosser Körper, elegant, Kräuter. Mittlerer Abgang

  Farbe, nase, Geschmack- passt alles. Auch der Abgang. Wunderbarer jetzt herrlich zu trinkender Riesling

  Drank on the second day (fridge storage). Sticky smear on the top of the cork but not defective. Used a dropstop.
  Surprisingly present notes of wood(!), honey, rather mild notes of yellow fruits. In general a ripe Riesling + gentle wood. Present, grippy acid all the way down the throat. Just fantastic.
