Cline does it again. This is a great $14-15 entry-level Pinot that drinks as well as more expensive wines from Cali or Oregon. VERY fruit-forward with a distinctive touch of smoke that some may like and some may not. Very food-friendly or just a good sipper. I have found our everyday Pinot with this wine. Could benefit from decanting, it opened up even more nicely the second night is why I think that.

Smokey, dry. Bitter. Needs to breathe in decanter for hour and served at white wine temp <50* if going to serve. May be good with smoked meats and cheeses.

Red fruit, dark berry fruit with a smoky note in the aromas. A hard note on the palate that just needs a moment. A waxier appeal to the fruit on the palate. Fuller, but with a drying finish. Apparent medium/- tannin.

California style, but still good at this price point ($13).
