  • Popped and poured. Very beautiful floral nose. The wine is medium to full bodied, silky but persistent. Flavors of raspberry, herbs and spice come through into a nice long finish. This has evolve beautifully and is in a prime drinking window.

  • It's better days have passed, but still a good PM pinot. When I first opened it was very tight, but after 30 mins it started to show more balance and flavors. I am finding that Cali pinot is in it's prime between 4 and 6 years of age. At 10 years or more they seem to drop off quickly.

  • Popped and poured, got progressively better, although never bad. Just not very distinctive at any point. Definitely think it's in the twilight of its life.

  • Right out of the bottle this was impressive.
Tons of spicy cola strawberry fruit, nice balance big juicy fruit, but within 30 minutes this started to fade. Aromas turned down, more elegant, and just losing steam. Still quite easy to enjoy, but perhaps the suggested window of 2014-2019 is ideal.
Nice wine, but almost a tad of a let down

  • Happy Thanksgiving!

Not in love with the style. Glad it was only $55-$60. We’ll see if it pairs better.

For my palate, there is a lot of funk here. The extraction is much more than I prefer.

The fruits are ruby, ripe, tart, somewhat sour; blackberries, black raspberries, plum, black cherries, blueberries cranberries & pomegranate. Edgy, grey volcanics, moist forest floor, cinnamon to stick, nutmeg, pronounced clove, dark spice, tree sap with bark, dry crushed rocks, eucalyptus, mid herbaceous-sage leafing with fresh, withering & candied florals of; dark, red, purple, blue framed lavender. The acidity is ok. The finish just doesn’t seem right to me. The bottles not corked or off. Just not my style or a very off vintage for them. It also shows elevated alcohol burn.

Can’t say the turkey made it better...did get a little better with my homemade cranberry sauce.

This did come around a bit after nearly 5 hours in the decanter, 90 to 91. Who thought I should have started decanting it at noon.
