  • A good occasion to go with pasta , mushroom and truffle oil dinner but wine was OK. The bigger issue here is with the opening/decanting of traditional Barolo wine that takes a long time to open up ( 4 hours + ) and modern style brings complexity to open Barolo to meet timing for dinner. This one was ready within the hour.

  • Somewhat one-dimensional but ready to drink now. Nice with sausage and kale pizza. Not bad. I've had Langhe Nebbiolo's that showed better. Modern style. OK. Nothing to write home about. Worth the closeout money I spent on it, yes.
