  • This is a good value, but not varietally correct. Nose is excellent on PnP with good earth and cherry notes. On palate, it is more full-bodied than I expected. Taste doesn't live up to the nose, but still good with mixed fruits and iron. More like a cotes du rhone than a chianti.
    Update, Day 2: Still drinking well. Surprising, given the price point. And it tastes more like a chianti now. May have to give this wine another shot.
