Shiny platinum colour. The nose is elegant yet penetrating, with subtle lemony and flowery notes, hints of ash, abricot and a flavour reminding of pain d'épices. The palate is pretty fat and well rounded, with a slight spritz on entry, good acidity running through and a clean fruit too: lemon, apricot. Good for the aperitif but matches well with chicken in cream sauce too... Excellent QPR at just 4,70€.

"2014" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/13/2013-10/18/2013 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {cork, 12.5%} Rather neutral, wax and lanolin-smelling wine. A light-bodied, oak-free, low-acid palate finishes fairly short. The only appreciable flavours are a spicy kind of impression as though there was some leftover gewurz in the vat before they added this. Not very exciting.
