Nose and palate are still expressing intense red and black fruit, marion berry, raspberry, blackberry. It is a medium to full bodied wine with a spiced middle and finish. A beautiful Syrah, still holding up, that paired deliciously with a lamb shank in a pomegranate sauce.

Lots of wood and oak on the nose along with cigar humidor.
Wine opens with red and blue fruits and a silky texture. Smoke and wood dominates the finish and became more prominent with time open. After a couple hours, fruit faded into the background. Bottle 2 years ago was better. Drink up.

Decanted 1/2 hr. Consistent, lively tastes of red & darker fruits.

Amazing follow-up wine to 2010 Sine Qua Non Five Shooter syrah. Completely held its own. Squarely in its optimal drinking window.
