  Beautiful, aromatic nose expressing classic nebbiolo notes of tar, cherry, earthy highlights and nice hints of flowers and spice. The palate mirrors the nose beautifully with like notes of dusty cherry, brambly raspberry, tobacco, tar, and roses and just a touch of herbs. Great creamy texture while still being light on it's feet and energetic. Excellent wine.

  PnP. Fantastic wine. Sour cherry, slight menthol, mushroom, forest floor, pine. Light garnet color with very high acidity. I've been looking for an alpine nebbiolo to challenge Ferrando Carema for years(since the price has doubled in the last 7 years) and this is it. The smallest of the 3 Carema producers so it's very hard to find but currently is trading around $29 a bottle. Great value and I actually think I like this better than Ferrando.
