A special Wine In the Mouth you had the oily feel, which I connect with Alsace more than German riesling. On the nose: signs of petrol, peach and pineapple. When it comes to sweetness it is a bit in-between.

Muted nose - some red apple, brown spice. With time, bright orange and flowers and peach come out. Pretty ripe with bright orange, some minerals. Light and clear, some bitterness - peach pit, minerals and slate. Juicy fruit and mineral drive into the finish: peach and peach pit. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15/20.

Dry with some nice racy acidity. Very fragrant and assertive with nice weight and length. A fine Riesling.

Very dry, with little fruit showing on the palate. Lots of petrol. Was expecting more.

Tasting with Barbara Selbach (Le Caveau, Chamblee, GA): A little muted at first, but air reveals the underlying intensity and complexity. Give it some time and you should be well rewarded.
