Mid-dark garnet, amber edges; berry, black fruit, cassis nose, hint of wood; mid-body; balanced; semi-tight tannins; long semi-chewy finish; improved with some aging. I agree it has lots of oak and vanilla flavors, but I liked it! I say "oak it up".

This is what thin, poorly made cabernet from a bad vintage tastes like when you use oak to try to hide it's flaws. Grape juice with a hint of vanilla.
