This is my first "en Rama" Manzanilla. I was dubious if the lack of heavy filtration would make much difference, but it certainly does. This is way more intense, complex, and satisfying than regular Manzanilla. It has a depth of mouth feel that deliciously contrasts with the tangy salinity and acidity of the wine. Bravo!

The nose is so complex at this point, but the wine is so well balanced that it requires attention to realize the details because it is rounded, like a good white Burgundy. Saline and very chalky, with some nutty and brown butter like elements beginning to show, and always that flirtatious chamomile scent. The palate is completely harmonious, pungent but gentle, and showing serious and great length. Fantastic wine.

In a great place. So expressive aromatically - chamomile, smoke, lemon oil, starting to be a bit nutty. Balanced, graceful, powerful on the palate. And the finish is distinctly chalky. Great wine.

Smells terrific - chamomile/pear/citrus peel/light sea air, aromatic and fresh, with underlying savory/spicy/almondy/woody/lightly caramelly depth. Similar combination of freshness and savoriness on the palate, with pronounced almond and chamomile flavors that linger for quite a while. Bracingly dry; slightly bitter; good acidity. Silky, slippery texture. Refreshing/moreish. This has handled some short term aging quite gracefully; thoroughly enjoyable.

This just keeps improving. Such detailed and well articulated flavors! Super pungent and long. I should have stocked up when I could have.
