  • AP 02 13. Opened along with the 2015 version it was interesting to compare the differences. The 2012 is far more subtle and well-integrated. Beautiful, almost cider apple at the forefront and vibrant acidity. Some secondary integration flavors. Probably a bit more versatile and food-friendly than the 2015 and an incredible bargain! I wish this producer was more well-represented in America. 92-93p

  • As always, a superb showing from this master of Riesling.
Nose with fine hints of petroleum and slate, with pineapples, peaches & some white flowers in the background.
Refreshing acidity and very fine balance with fresh Riesling fruit on the palate.
Will benefit from further cellaring, perhaps 5 more years for more complexity, but lovely already.
    Highly recommended!
