  Dark red cloudy color. Some grainy sediment here. Nose is quite expressive with partially developed cherry fruit, mushrooms and a rounded, full nose of delightfulness.
  
  The palate is intense and it seems finally some of the 2003’s are coming around after quite a slumber. This one has fruity intensity, plenty of grainy tannins and everything is in perfect balance now.
  
  A marvel of a wine bought in France for 18€, 7 years ago. Seems like a steal right now compared to todays prices.

  The wine has decent power and fruit, but a bit of unbalanced tannins draws it down. Also a slight hint of barnyard and unsanitary production facilities puts me a bit off at first. This blows away after a day though, and a rather good and sturdy burgundy wine emerges.
