Best bottle (@Private location): Glass: Josephinenhütte White/Universal Popped and poured. Clear, pale amber color. Clean, fantastic and intense nose with lots of fresh and ripe apricot, honey, spices. Very deep, complex and fresh. On the palate with a racy acidity. I would call it still perfectly integrated and balanced, others think it is too much. Lots of ripe Mango, apricot, juicy and young. Lacks a bit of substance and sugar to be really great. Long. Will stay on this level for decades. 93-94

Keller Pettenthal Großes Gewächs - full vertical tasting (2009-2017) (@Private location): *** view note in context of full tasting *** Glass: Gabriel Standard PnP, not decanted. Still very youthful. Lovely nose, fresh, honey, botrytis and ripe fruit. Killer acidity, that has not yet fully blended in. High extract, wonderful balance and harmony. Endless finish. Needs 10+ years. 94-95+

From a 1/2 bottle with a 3 cm fill, this wine had more SOS than I realized when I bought it. The center was a medium/light brown and the rims were tan/yellow. The medium intensity nose emanated toffee, tea, lemons, and minerals.
In the mouth, this wine was rich and quite ripe with firm integrated acidity and excellent length.
This had such a core of integrated acidity that there was no sense of heaviness, despite its very ripe fruit. This bottle was very tasty, ready to drink, and unlikely to improve. I can't comment of better stored bottles.
