  • Medium to full body, deep ruby red color, aromatic, red berries, tobacco and smoky wood aroma, blueberry, cherry and oak on the palate, fresh plums on finish, long finish, powerful but fresh and juicy, bold, rich texture, complex and balanced, lovely acidity, still tannic. Food friendly. Associates with goulash or cassoulet. Serve 16º - 22º. Open two hours in advance or decant about half hour. Already enjoyable but best from next year and will in well drinking conditions three/five years.

  • What can I say? For an entry level Cahors this is near perfect. Fruit forward, bit of grip and tannin, quite rustic but so enjoyable to drink. God I love these 2010 Cahors. You'll end up thinking of drinking this in the evening when you are sat at work and you'll be anticipating the taste and nose. Is there are better quality to price ratio out there?
