went to drink one of these and must have already drank them :(. Total bummer as I was looking forward to it! At least I have several other vintages still in the cellar.

Red cherry, cranberry, vanilla and rose notes on the nose. Medium bodied (13.1% ABV) with red cherry upfront and showing a nice mixture of cool, smooth depths and more lively brightness. Needs about two hours to fully integrate and then the mid-body shows increased depth and quite pleasant roundness. Cranberry, strawberry and orange rind on the back side and into the finish where they mix with minerals, earth and light spices. Slightly less complex and not quite the polish or elegance of the 2010 at its best or the 2013, but really quite close; an impressive achievement for a weaker vintage. Could show improved balance with a bit more time, but I would drink over the next 2-3 years.

From a magnum. Not a wow wine but better than expected and perfect with the excellent cuisine at Little Gem. Ample delicious fruit. A well balance, mature wine with nicely integrated tannins. At peak. - 93

Superb! Has with Christmas dinner of seared scallops (pun intended) and NY strip. Well rounded with integrated fruit and a delightful finish.

Matured, yet lively, spicy yet nicely integrated with rich fruit, tannins, acidity.
