Glorious showing with enough freshness and fruit to continue at a high level for several more years. Obviously well cared for prior to tonight's enjoyment.

Deep purple color with spare, clear rim; deep cherry burgundy nose with mostly secondary with just hints of tertiary qualities. Gets somewhat more ripe and open with airing: plum, violets, licorice; very long red cherry finish. Happy to have one other bottle, will avoid drinking as long as possible.

This bottle was more earthy than the others I've had, with a slightly moldy character to the nose. Similar to my previous notes with dried cherries, currant and orange peel, but with significantly more earth, leather and exotic spice. A nice, mature Burgundy, but should be drunk sooner than later.

Still going strong, but took some coaxing to emerge. A bit flat upon opening, but really came to life after a good half hour in the glass. Over the course of a few hours, this wine blossomed into an astoundingly complex, wonderful wine. Similar to my note in 2013 with dried cherries, currant and orange peel, but with more leather and exotic spice. A wonderful mature Burgundy!

Fantastique! Paired with grilled marinated lamb chops, this wine was exquisite. Drinking perfectly now with purity of red fruits and dusty cherries, silky smooth integrated tannins, vibrant undercurrent of mineral acidity and subtle touches of earth and mushrooms. Medium red with almost no bricking. Fully mature and evolved wonderfully in the glass.
