This wine comes across attractive and fruity on the nose, what I would call a traditional Napa cab scent. Very little to no tannins left - I got no bitterness, dryness or astringent components whatsoever. The mouthfeel is smooth and supple. CT has a 2015 end date for this wine. Clearly the wine has lasted longer than that, but I think by 2022 this wine will be toast.
This bottle was purchased at the winery in 2016 for $100 and was stored in a temperature controlled unit (my cellar) for the duration. For that amount, I would expect a lot more. This is a good wine, but is characteristic of many Napa wines that are overpriced for what you get.
