We only managed about 3 tastings in Saumur Champigny, all from Hachette. This was my clear favourite and still is even after we got home. Not expensive or complicated, but a perfect light everyday drinking wine, which (i think) was typical of the terroir - would have bought lots more if we'd had the space (6 euros!). They also had some oak aged reds and an amazing Coteaux (sp?) de Saumur, which were all very good. Saving one of the pudding wines for Xmas day - can't wait!
