Well...another day, another bottle and this is lovely right now. Still fresh with good limpid colour and acidity. I'm guessing bottle variation down to corks? (Bizarrely the same inconsistency occured with Schlumberger 2008 Kessler. One good, one very over the hill.

Drank from half bottle at the Auberge de l'Ill. Perfect time to drink in this format. Rich, expansive aromas without excess of botrytis or alcohol. One of the better balanced Alsace Rieslings that I have had lately; excellent length.

Alsace Society Pinot Gris - Dim Sum Lunch (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold colour. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of petroleum, smoke, and citrusy lime. Developing. On the palate, dry style, steely high acidity, medium+ alcohol, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of petroleum, saline minerality, and lemon-lime. Long finish. Very good quality. Has potential to improve with further ageing.
