Limonada de limones confitados con una acidez de la que vamos bien cubiertos. La abuela a puesto a enfriar un pastel de higos en el alféizar. Suave y con un punto alcohólico teniendo que enfrentarse a una extraordinaria densidad. Maravilloso.

Gareth's Magnum Dinner, part 2 (Noize): A funny little wine, with a heady nose that reminded me of mint Toffoes (not something I've thought about since c. 1988 - smell works in mysterious ways). Herbal and aromatic, but not something I'd want more than a small glass of.

Light amber with orange rim. High distillate tones and some varnish come roaring out of the glass accompanied by intense floral perfume and orange marmalade. Although this is billed as having 12% residual sugar, the sweetness is remarkably well concealed by its searing acidity, which also makes the wine seem lighter on its feet than its 14% alcohol would suggest. All told, volatility aside, it reminds me of Tokaji or Madeira. I liked it but could drink very little of it since the volatile organic components pretty quickly gave me a headache (as reliably as Cognacs or Armagnacs do).
Interesting to note that it really settled down substantially from the recorked bottle on night 3, losing some of its volatility while retaining the fruit. However, the mid-palate lost something and the overall impression was more harsh and alcoholic.

Who was Right, S#ckers? Wuhan Restrictions Ending in Great Britain; 5/5/2022-5/7/2022 (Londres - GB): Lemonade elaborated with candied lemons, acidity we are well covered, I promise. Our grandmother has put to cool a pie of figs on the sill. Soft and with an alcoholic point having to face an extraordinary density. Wonderful.

Amazing colour, hard to know this has anything to with a white grape. Tropical and nutty. Hint of caramel. Concentrated and layered. Great stuff.
