Half bottle. Deep amber in the glass, or the color of 30-year old leaded gasoline from great-grandpa's old shed. Clear and clean, with medium viscosity served at 50F. Nose of Macintosh apples - a tiny bit of diesel blew off immediately upon pouring. Bright acidity with front and middle palate of bright lemon, grated apples and Armagnac. Back palate brings saltwater and melted light brown sugar, sour oranges and proofing dough. An excellent experience.

Koehler-Ruprecht The best Dries and some add-ons; 6/23/2019-6/27/2019 (Neuhof am See): Blind, half bottle
For me not balanced, too sweet and too young

Koehler-Ruprecht: Complete Saumagen vertical of all Spätlese and Auslese R and RR plus X (Neuhof am See, Dillingen, Germany): *** please understand this note in the context of the whole vertical tasting ***
Glass: Gabriel Standard
Tasted blind.
Veery young, almost painfully high acidity that has not fully blended in yet. Will it ever? I don’t know. Otherwise not overly complex and deep. 90-92
