Despite a robust purple color, it is overripe, unattractively laden with residual sugar, and harsh despite modest alcohol and the usually reliable Mendocino appellation. The only reason I can see for naming this "Agriculturalist" is that the person who grows the grapes never drinks the resulting wine. Because it is awful. Doesn't seem to be corked or suffering from any of the usual flaws that I recognize. Let me say that I have really enjoyed wines with minimal sulfur in the past, such as Marcel Lapierre's "n"-labeled Beaujolais, so it's not just the fact that it's labeled "no detectible sulfites." One of the worst non-flawed wines I have tasted. Poor.
