  • Label spacing and capsule are suspicious. The wine is so clear without any sediment even if it was stored laying down. Nose is fairly muted, none of the Vosne spice, and even some dark-fruited Leroy-ness which is odd in 80s Maison period too. Palate is way too fresh, may even with some new world pinot additions. I am highly unconvinced this is a real bottle; however, the blended wine, presumably with some young Maison Leroy, is fairly decent.
