Has definitely become richer with time as it's moving into a mature Semillon space with a bit of beeswax and lemon butter and mandarin notes.
Personal preference I guess, but I think this was better in its younger years when it was very tropical, I have fond memories of a powerful lychee character in this wine years ago.

I tasted quite a strong and distinctive lychee character with a little banana behind it.
Interesting to read other people's notes described this as fairly typical Australian (Hunter Valley) Semillon, i.e. grassy or citric, whereas for me this was much more tropical that I think Aussie Sem usually looks, and I was guessing that's a Henty vs Hunter distinction.

Yellow hues. A fragrant bouquet of honeysuckles and lime, chantilly and summery hay, wet pebbly stone and crisp mineral. A deliciously fresh, soft and evenly poised palate, layered with flavours of the orchard, underpinned by firm chalky minerality. The lingering, bone dry finish is filled with evolving fruit characters, bright and crisp.

Very light straw-green; a clean, crisp, fine grassy bouquet is followed by a similarly crisp and clean palate with excellent structure, texture and length, finishing with minerally acidity.
