Second vintage for this first ever Turkish sparkling wine made with the traditional method. Only the black Kalecik Karası grapes from their own vineyards in Kalecik, near Ankara are used and the wine is released as "vintage" since its debut in 2009. Brass coloured with fine, tiny bubbles displaying yeasty notes upfront followed by golden apple and pear. Very clean and pure. Persistent with a fine mousse and good palate weight. Well made wine albeit some astringency that takes over from the attack until the medium long finish.
