Super value. Still dense and quite dark and chewy with primary dark cherry fruit and some savoriness and earthiness. Medium finish. Opened up nicely over a couple hours.

Very nice, and while perhaps showing a touch past prime, still extremely enjoyable. Lovely nose with a touch of leathery funk, dried red raspberry, a hint of mulberry. On the palate, acid a bit softer than I would like, but good density, gamey wild cherry, some cola, and a red cherry finish with attenuated tannin.

A beautiful bottle of nicely aged red burg. On the nose, a touch of leather, a hint of stems, some funk and then red fruit, with nice complexity. On the palate, excellent acidity and density, good texture on the palate, with crushed red fruit, attenuated tannin that leans chewy dried red fruit on the finish. Punches way above its paygrade, and just a fantastic btl. To be clear, better than many 1er I have had recently (e.g. the Cacheux Suchots).

Popped and poured. Took a couple of minutes to come around and then was a delicious, fruit driven, burgundy.
