  I'm not going to go overboard on my praise for this Pinot Blanc, but I am definitely going to try and express my appreciation for their effort. It has the beginnings of tasting Alsatian. There is some body and character on the palate, with some moderate, on it's way to being something special, "Old World" style pear skin, melon rind, peach pit, mineral earthiness that is welcome and commendable. To me, the acid just overwhelms the delicacy those Alsatian characteristics are so much trying to express. Nice effort. Greatly appreciated. We probably drank it too cold, and too fast for proper aeration.
