If it's not green pepper it's green something else. On the nose and on the palate. Marginally better on day two, but probably because the flavors were dulled. This was almost surely due to poor quality grapes rather than poor winemaking. Regardless, it's the worst $65 I think I ever spent on a bottle of wine. It sure would have been better for Mark to sell these grapes off than sucker his club members into buying this.

Deep ruby red in appearance. Classic 2011 and elegant nose with layers of mint, jasmine, herbal, berries and cedar. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Lush palate of eucalyptus, mint, blueberries, and dark spices. Long finish. Drink till 2023.

Opened up as the night progressed. I’m always hesitant with the 2011 Uproar as I’ve had several really good bottles and a couple of really bad. This cab was in the middle, blackberry fruit galore and a medium finish.
