Based on other TNs mentioning the sulfur taint, this wine was decanted for 30 minutes - with good results. The sulfur blew off and the wine darkened in both color and palate. The early palate showed only some red fruit and more acidity than desired. After the full 30 minutes, the palate revealed a good amount of red fruit, with some dark red fruit, some earth, and a touch of minerality, all wrapped in a relatively balancing acidity. I would recommend drinking this wine within the next year, but with a 30 minute decant up front.

My previous note was borne out with this bottle. I'm sensitive to sulfur and there's a distinct sulfur taint to this wine. From a burnt match nose to slight brimstone on the palate, I'm sure this wine was overly sulfured during the winemaking. My wife liked it, and I think it is otherwise a well-made wine, but I have to mark it down. Anyone want to buy my last bottle? :-(

Good solid pinot, nothing spectacular, but little sulfur as I found in previous bottles. I'm not all that impressed with this Coury clone business.
