Medium full gold color; dried apricot, honey and lychee, figs; fairly ripe and more of an Auslese-like weight to it; slightly sweeter than my preferred “salty vs. sweet” tension for German Riesling. After a shot bottle last time (a couple years ago), these need drinking up soon. 92+

Light golden color; classic character of German riesling taking on age - nose of lime zest, flowers, crushed stone and oil-based scents of an auto repair shop (in a nice way). Lithe on palate with crisp tension of acid and suppleness. Drier than a typical spatlese, decent finish. Changes very little (softens a bit) over two hours in the glass. No hurry here.
