One of the best Burgundies I've tasted in a while. Showed beautiful balance and gorgeous acidity. There was a vein of chalk that ran right through the mid palate that I found very compelling. Lots of citrus countered by rich, creamy apple and brioche notes. A touch of oak was just the perfect amount. Shows great aging potential but is drinking splendidly right now.

Quite tight on the nose, not giving much; quite a viscous palate compared to the other wines though with lovely fruit. Full and rich, creamy, fresh acacia honey. Very satisfying if a little simplistic. 90-92
