Pretty much what indiscriminate palate said. This is a fantastic Mourvedre with bright red fruit framed by all sorts of developed smoky, meaty, leathery and other savoury notes. Drinking superbly now with the tannins fully integrated and a very polished, graceful texture on the palate.

Beautiful Mourvèdre character, some funk, pure blue fruit, captivating nose. Silky and fairly mature; very little tannin, good acidity. Not incredibly complex on the palate but the nose is worth the price of admission and then some. Medium finish of sour cherry and a bit of funk.

Drink them if you have them. If I had been served this blind, I would have guessed older Cab, with its cedar and dried flowers and the like. Still good acidity holding it all together. Draper's note says to drink this young or within 4-5 years. Well, I didn't have that chance, but this was worth drinking, even if it's never going to be better. With stuffed bell peppers.

More savory and rustic than fruit-driven. Not a lot of complexity or spine, this is charming in it's own way but seems to be limping into maturity.
