  • Wonderful bottle of wine. Deep purple color, dark cooked ripe fruits, unique smooth initial Tate with long tan induce finish.

  • I don't know who would be reading this review if at all but... first time trying Petit Verdot blend. Long story short, it was okay. Tasted like a Cabernet with a finish that told you it's not really Cabernet. I found this to be less complex than Cabernet but I want to be fair and say that it was decent.

Didn't really get the spice and robustness comparable to a Syrah like the prior review below me. It was just very average to say the least. I am neutral with this wine, I neither like it or don't like it. Maybe some other people would, so try it for yourselves.

  • I had this at Pax Americana in Houston.

Second wine of the night. I wanted something bigger than the Syrah we had started with and a varietal my friends probably hadnt had before. This hit the spot.

Tons of dark fruit and spice. I think it is in a sweetspot right now. Tannins have resolved to the point where they aren't overpowering, but it is still an imposing wine with good acidity. Went phenomenally with the pork belly, and everyone else loved it as well.
