The Cabernet is there to help flesh out the wine and give it more of a frame work. And hey, delicious easy drinking stuff too.

Currants and berries, fruit forward but still dry.
Just released. 92% Syrah, 8% Cabernet. The cab is from Chalk Hill. A "drier" style than I remember, meaning not as much fruit or sweet oak.
A decent Syrah blend (8% Cab Sauv). A mellow blend of ripe red berries and blackberries with a hint of earthiness.
