This note is from memory, as this was drunk some time ago. Despite the heavy packaging (expecting a fruit-bomb), the wine was surprisingly savoury and peppery, almost with a touch of green. Medium weight, fairly acidic, with fairly soft tannins. Almost a bit boney, as opposed to the rich chocolate I was somehow expecting. In the end, not terribly convincing; finishes just a bit on the short side.

Mid-weight Victorian Shiraz. Still youthful, tinged with ripe blue fruits. Fleshy. Black olives in brine, deli meats and vanillin malty oak contribute to complexity. Great, elegant drop.
