Community Tasting Notes (3)

  • Green to pale yellow in colour. Mineral nose, some hints of lime. Quite viscous with lots of minerality. Clean and elegant finish with reasonable length. Proper 1er cru intensity and structure. Good. ***

  • Consistent with previous note. Pale, quite unevolved on the nose, mineral, slightly floral. Mineral, alfado and a surprisingly weighty texture in the mouth. By the second evening, a little nose open and rounded, bust still quite taut. Good and no hurry.

  • Palest of yellows with hints of green. Fresh, minerally nose. Still gives the impression of being quite young. Minerally, slightly limey, classic Chablis, slightly rounded but no sign of more honeyed flavours. tastes surprisingly young. Just about ready but plent of life left. Lacks the grip and intensty of a GC but spot on for its 1er status. Now and for another 5 years or so.
