  Nose is not very strong. Relatively smooth mouthfeel, drinkable, if just ever so slightly harsh. Certainly not a bad wine, but nothing special; lacks a bit of personality that we usually expect from Italian wine; lacking sophistication. Perhaps not a great value at $25. CO did not like much. Grade: B-.
