Two+ hour decant that was more extended than necessary. Nice balance, but a little light on acidity. Shorter finish. Tannins are well integrated. Good deep blackberry aroma and flavor, with faint secondary tar flavors. Not extraordinary by any means but a nice drinker. Time to drink up though—there doesn’t seem to be enough structure to justify much longer in the cellar.

A bit of harsh notes, so I decanted for an hour. Amazing rich Napa fruit. Structured minerals and softened tannins get there first, but then rich dark fruits, including blackberry, boysenberry, and cassis.
I see that over half of the purchased bottles are still in cellars. Stop waiting; it's time to drink!

Half-hour decant, poured through an aerator. And it still took another hour for the tannins to calm down--a long decant is necessary at this point. But once the tannins integrated, this was quite good and balanced. A nice dark fruit aroma, notes of leather and meatiness on the palate. For the price, a nice weeknight Cab.
