Orange in color. Orange rind, orange marmalade a finish with some cognac. Elegant, developed flavors. Alcohol shows through a bit on finish, which is only detractor. Very nice result from a 6 year old rose.

Very light in color, only a faint hint of pale pink. Upfront taste of strawberry husk and orange rind. Hold on with a slight yeast character with a full finish. No one else in the party liked it. I described it to my wife as a wine lover's rose, not a rose lover's wine.

watermellon on the nose, along with some pastry shop notes and grass. Palate is smooth, and a little dead on the center of the tongue but with a slight honeydew flavor while a crunch acidity builds on the sides of the tongue, and the finish is superb, like a great rose Champagne.

I waffled on this one, both liking and disliking it in some measure. It seems to have some intentional oxidation, which... I liked and sometimes disliked. It was interesting, I'll give it that. I liked it best on the second night (out of three nights).

We thoroughly enjoyed this wine. This wine worked very well with our pear and pecorino risotto. We served it slightly chilled. I would recommend this wine. It isn't too sweet like a lot of roses are...though it is almost more of a blush color.
