  The difference in bottles really interests me. This one was very good. Powerful fruit with blackberry, plum, cedar. Powerful but in no way jammy. Tannins were firm but restrained and the acidity was muted but enough to round out the experience. I hope my other bottles are as good as this one.

  I'm a little torn on this one. You can feel the structure and integration of this wine through its finish, it just is a little sharp. The acidity is overblown. If in the future I could guarantee that the acidity would mellow and the fruit would retain its intensity, then this wine has the potential to become great. However I am a realist! Lots of good things here, just not enough to make it unforgettable. I might be wrong though, so will come back to it in a year of so.
