  • Sort of a find here. For $9 in our market we get kind of textbook smelling and tasting southern French rendition of Merlot. Pure and authentic metallic, graphite and green pepper nose and palate. Moderate amount of oak to round things out. Red currant meets blueberry fruit profile. Sharp and precise but not necessarily complex. Medium plus bodied. Just a touch of tannic bitterness on the roof of the mouth. Spicy red raspberry fruit, graphite and some wet earth on the finish.
