  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark garnet. Nose has dark berries and pepper. Swishing shows acid and tannin but the fruit is dense and balances this structure well. Sipping shows nice tight package between the fruit density and structure. Nice follow up to the dense cab franc we drank w dinner. Sadly my last bottle

  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark garnet. Nose has super dark fruit w cardamom. Swishing shows super ripe dark dark fruit with some spice on the finish. Finish is med long and super pleasant. Sipping shows super polish and balance despite the fruit density. As I said before this would please the new world cab drinker as an interesting alternative.

  • This hit the spot. Last time I had it it seemed unremarkable. Plonkish. However, that time I had brought it to a holiday party and did not have the ability to concentrate on it much. It was just wine to wash down food and conversation, and it worked fine, if in an unexciting way. So, this time I had a chance to drink it at home with a variety of foods and take the time to taste it more carefully. It's a nice wine, with a very live flavor and good balance. It's not stirring exactly, but I'd buy it again.

  • PNP. Cork perfect. Color garnet. Nose dark fruit and earth. Swishing has same earthiness with some tart berries and more earth. Tannin sneaks up at end. Sipping shows great polish with excellent density. This is a great cab alternative To Cabernet without all the messy oak. Great with steaks tonight.
